FAFS will award a $200 honorarium payment to any licensed resource parent who recruits a new licensed resource home in NJ.  In addition, you could receive another $200 if the newly licensed resource family you recruit takes a sibling group placement of 3 or more.

* Additional $200 check will be issued after DYFS confirmation of placement of sibling group is received by FAFS.

Here’s how it works:

1.    Simply tell the person you have recruited to be sure to give us your name when he or she calls FAFS to complete an inquiry or just call us yourself.

2.    Once the person you’ve recruited has finished the process of becoming a licensed   NJ Resource Parent and confirmation has been received by FAFS from DYFS, you’ll receive your $200 check in the mail.
