Monthly Foster Care and Subsidy Check Information!

There is now a toll free number you can use to access the most recent Monthly Foster Care and Subsidy Check information: 1-800-719-9670. When you call, you will hear a recording giving you the date of the most recent check and the date the checks were placed in the US Postal Service for mailing. You will also be instructed to dial 0 if you need further assistance; this connects you to the Office of Accounting. The check information is also posted on the Department of Children and Families’ website.

Apply for FAFS' Private Scholarships & Opportunity Grants for foster & adoptive youth in NJ. IMPORTANT NOTE: Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Applications must be delivered to FAFS' office by 11:59 pm, March 16, 2012. Camden County Having Easter Egg Hunt This Spring

FAFS 2012 Recognition Award Nominations Are Open!

Once again, FAFS and the Division of Youth and Family Services will hold our Annual Recognition Brunch during National Foster Care Month in May 2012. Nominations are now being accepted for Outstanding Foster Family, Outstanding New Foster Family, Outstanding Adoptive Family, Outstanding Kinship Family, Outstanding Youth of the Year, Volunteer Committee/Affiliate of the Year, Outstanding FAFS Member, FAFS Commitment Award, Outstanding DYFS Staff, and Outstanding Teamwork in Support of Child.
