Resource Parents and Youth Can Attend Court

December 4 @ 7 p.m.

This webinar will cover the statewide implementation of a recently approved court directive requiring that notice be given to foster youth and children regarding their right to participate in their permanency hearings. We will address what the law allows resource parents and what the youth living in their homes need to know when attending court hearings. Many helpful tips for resource parents will be included in this training.3 hours in-service training

Creating Safe and Affirming Families for Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Youth

This webinar will educate resource parents and their family about basic terminology and concepts around transgender and gender non-conforming youth in order to help parents create an accepting, affirming and inclusive home environment as transgender youth enter resource care. 3 hours in-service training
